About the Artist:
Singer, guitarist, songwriter, John Gaar hails from a fertile
and diverse musical locale, Louisiana. Gaar started
playing guitar at 13, and began his musical career at 16.
By 18 he was on the road along with his brother, Burton,
performing with Grammy-winning Zydeco artist Rockin’
"My Toot Toot" Sidney. Life’s journey then took him to
the San Francisco Bay Area, Tulsa, Nashville, Louisiana
and the Road – including touring the U.S. and Europe
playing 250 nights a year for four years. Now in Austin,
Texas – billed as the live music capital of the World, Gaar
has moved into the solo spotlight with his “John Gaar
Band” and is making rapid headway on the rockin’ blues
and “Americana music scene.” |

This was everything "soulful singin' guitar lickin'..." review promised it
to be and more! The first day I listened to it, I just kept playing it over
and over...got me through the work day. Then I played it in the car for others
that evening. Awesome guitar, great singing, amazing songwriting. I definitely
want more John Gaar Band music!
