With "Una Y Mil Veces", Mexican pop artist and musician Jorge Lan shows off
his liking of both the contemporary pop and traditional latin styles on this
ten-track disc. Stand-out songs range from the radio-friendly "Que Se Necesita",
the soft pop title track, and the catchy lyrics and melody of "No Volvere".
Lan shines with the salsa-based, "Rompe Mi Corazon" which could become an awesome
Latin dance hit with proper promotion. As a listener, it's incredible to sit
back and listen to the lyrics. As a lyricist, Jorge shows much promise. The
song "Serenata" screams mainstream hit-status! Lan is defenitely a bright talent
to emerge out of Mexico. Using a list of talented musicians and vocalists, "Una
Y Mil Veces" will leave the listener wanting to the hear the disc for 'one
and million more times'. A sure winner and definitely a disc to add to your
Latino Pop collection!
